Giacomo Bossi (died 1893, aged 62) was a member of Vancouver & Quadra Lodge No. 2 in Victoria. He came to Victoria from Italy and became a major landowner in 19th century Victoria. Several of his buildings are still standing, One prominent Giacomo Bossi building in downtown Victoria is 530-540 Johnson Street, which is listed on the Canadian Register of Historic Places as the Grand Pacific Hotel.
Giacomo Bossi is buried in Ross Bay Cemetery, Victoria, B.C. The angel figure on his grave is one of the most photographed grave markers in Ross Bay Cemetery. The inscription “His Word Was His Bond” on the grave is very much in keeping with Masonic ideas.
