530-540 Johnson Street was built in 1879 by Giacomo Bossi, a member of Vancouver & Quadra Lodge No. 2 in Victoria. Giacomo Bossi used the building as the Grand Pacific Hotel. This building is listed on the Canadian Register of Historic Places as the Grand Pacific Hotel.
