The District Deputy Grand Master’s Official Visit to Temple Lodge No. 33 be held at the Duncan Masonic Temple, 163 Canada Avenue, Duncan, B.C. on Saturday, 24 November 2018 at 1:00 p.m.

Temple Lodge No. 33 will also be conducted a Fellow Craft Degree as part of the Official Visit ceremonies.

Please bear in mind that Temple Lodge No. 33 will be opened at 11:00 a.m., Lunch will be at 12:00 noon and the District Deputy Grand Master’s Official Visit will begin at 1:00 p.m.

All Visiting Brethren are very welcome to attend.

Temple Lodge No. 33 will be holding its annual Widows’ Christmas Luncheon in conjunction with the Cowichan Valley Shrine Club Sweethearts Christmas Luncheon.

This annual event will be held on Sunday, December 9th, 2018 at the Cowichan Golf Club starting at approx 11 am with the Buffet Lunch at 12 NOON.

This will be a full Turkey Dinner with all the trimmings for $27.50 per person.

The Regular Meeting of Temple Lodge No. 33 for November 2018 will be held at the Duncan Masonic Temple, 163 Canada Avenue, Duncan, B.C. on Tuesday, 13 November 2018 at 7:30 p.m.

On 23 October 2018, at 7:30 p.m., Temple Lodge No. 33 will be holding an Entered Apprentice Degree.

This special event will be held at the Duncan Masonic Temple, 163 Canada Avenue, Duncan, B.C.

GRAND MASTER’S OFFICIAL VISIT TO DISTRICT NO. 27

The Grand Master’s Official Visit to District 27 will take place on Saturday, 27 October 2018.

District 27 of the Grand Lodge of B.C. & Yukon consists of the following Masonic Lodges:

• St. John’s Lodge No. 21
• Temple Lodge No. 33
• Malahat Lodge No. 107
• Chemainus Lodge No. 114
• Admiral Lodge No. 170

The Host Lodge for the Grand Master’s Official Visit will be Malahat Lodge No. 107, which is located at 2744 Lashburn Place, Mill Bay, B.C.

The itinerary is as follows:

• 11h00 – Open Lodge – Go to Refreshment
• 11h30 – Refreshments available – No Host
• 12h00 – Luncheon Banquet served – three course dinner Ladies and families welcome
• 13h00 – Lodge called on to receive the Grand Master
• 13h00 – Ladies Programme in the Lodge Hall – Presentation of local History with wine and snacks – No Charge

Ann Crawford has advised us that the funeral service for Bob Crawford will be held on 30 September 2018, 1:00 p.m. at Mellor Hall at the Cowichan Exhibition Ground, 7380 Trans Canada Highway, at Mays Road, north of Duncan.
