Deceased Brethren

William Frederick Grosskleg (1886-1952) sent a Petition For Initiation to Temple Lodge No. 33 on 30 January 1921. It stated he was born in Raglan (the next word on his Petition is difficult to read but we think it says “Manitoba”) on 11 June 1886, was residing in Cowichan Lake and was employed as a “Logging Foreman” by the Genoa Bay Logging Company.

He was sponsored for membership in Temple Lodge No. 33 by E.F. Nason and John Henry Castley.

The Committee of Investigation, consisting of John Albert Kyle, William Mordaunt Dwyer and one other whose name is illegible on the Petition, reported favorably and William Frederick Grosskleg was duly elected to membership in Temple Lodge No. 33 by Initiation in April 1921.

We will add more information as we do more research.
