Deceased Brethren of Temple Lodge
Temple Lodge records show Captain Herbert H. Addington joining the Lodge in 1900. Unfortunately our lodge records do not give a lot of information about Captain Addington.
Other sources give more information. His name appears as Herbert Hiley S. Addington in the Voters List for the 1898 B.C. provincial election, which lists him as a “Retired Captain H.M.A.” residing at Somenos, near Duncan.
Other sources show a Herbert Hiley Stafford Addington, born 12 March 1859 in Newton Abbott, Devonshire, U.K. who served as a Captain in the Royal Fusiliers until 1891. This Herbert Addington died in 1943.
