-------------

At our 28 September 2013 Emergent Meeting to visit our aged Brethren resident at Sherwood House, the Lodge was informed that V.W. Brother Bill Somerville and R.W. Brother George Morris were in Cowichan District Hospital. Following our Emergent Meeting, V.W. Brother Cam Rizzi and I went to visit Brothers Somerville and Morris in hospital.

George is in good spirits and I'm sure he would be happy to receive more visitors. I encourage any Brethren wishing to visit George to do so. But please be advised that George is in a palliative care ward, so please check in at the nurses' station before visiting to see whether George is up for receiving visitors at the time of your visit.

We also visited RWB Bill Somerville. I regret to inform you that RWB Somerville passed to the Grand Lodge Above, with his family by his side, a few hours after our visit.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

10 September 2013

-------------

Worshipful Brother Colin Auld moved into Wedgwood House, a seniors' residence on Government Street, in June 2013.

Unfortunately, W.Brother Auld's health deteriorated shortly after he moved into Wedgwood House and he now needs a higher level of care than is available at Wedgwood House. He has therfore been moved to Oak Bay Lodge in Victoria. VW Brother Dave Blake has visited him there and has informed me that Colin is settling in well at Oak Bay Lodge.
