This City of Duncan Heritage building was built in 1893 by Worshipful Brother Christopher Dobson of Temple Lodge. No. 33 to house Wor. Brother Dobson's carriage and bicycle shop.

Wor. Brother Christopher Dobson ran his business here until 1904, when he sold the building and business to D.R. Hattie, who operated the business here for 38 years.

The building has had several long term occupants since that time. D.R. Hattie was succeeded by Walter Hudson, whose business, Hudson's Hardware, occupied the building for two decades.

The building is now occupied by several businesses.
