Victoria-Columbia Lodge, No. 1 in Victoria B.C. is the oldest Masonic Lodge in the Province. It was originally constituted on 28 August, 1860 by the Grand Lodge of England as Victoria Lodge, No. 1085.

It's charter members were:

James Johnson Southgate (Merchant); George Pearkes (Solicitor);
James N. Thain (Merchant); Amor de Cosmos (Editor); Kady Gambitz (Draper); Thomas Harris (Gentleman); Lumley Franklin (Broker); John T. Howard (Publican); William Henry Thain (Carrier); H. J. McDonell (occupation not specified).

Its membership lists contain some very well known names in the history of British Columbia and the city of Victoria.
